A conversation with MIRANDA YORK

We are very excited to welcome Miranda York to Caro for a conversation with Natalie Jones about The Joy of Food. We hope you will join us for an evening talking about British food culture, the seasonal journey of food and what food means to different people. Named one of Code's 100 Most Influential Women in Food, we feel very privileged have her with us in Bruton.

Her latest book The Food Almanac II, is an annual, seasonal collection of recipes and stories celebrating a diverse mix of memoir, history, short stories and poems alongside recipes, cooking tips, menus and reading lists - from Caroline Eden describing the dining car on the Siberian Express to Diana Henry honouring the softness of autumn. As is her her first book The Food Almanac, this book is an inspirational companion in the kitchen. Join Miranda York as she guides you through the year, accompanied by legendary food writers, lauded chefs, up-and-coming poets and award-winning novelists.

Miranda started her career as a food, travel and culture journalist, writing for publications such as the Financial Times, Vogue and Mr. Porter. Passionate about British Food Culture Miranda then founded At The Table, a creative platform that explores and celebrates this very subject. She also co-founded Twelve Noon, a creative studio with an appetite for spirited stories.
