The Royal Margot

Margot House, a chic hotel recently opened in Barcelona, describes its ethos as a place where the 'essential becomes exceptional'. A material-palette of wood and cement brings a discrete, calming quality to the interior. Hut-panelling combined with soft linens and exceptional furniture curation brings to mind a tasteful beach-resort-cum-Scandi-retreat. A father and daughter duo both with an interior design background, this hospitality creation is a family affair.

The classic branding, designed but Studio Séptimo, utilises navy blue as the signature colour complete with gold text. It is contemporary and distinguished like the hotel, which offers a 24-hour cafeteria, reception shop, Brompton bicycle hire, a library, concierge services and an honesty bar!

I wish my father had taste like Sergio Durany (daughter Sandra)! Sorry Dad.
