Rag of Colts
Old English for fallen out of use, Rag of Colts refers to a herd of young male horses. Caroline has been collecting old bridle leather and brass buckles so it was already in her blood when she put her hand to the craft of leather work. Using simple traditional tools, each bag is handmade down to every stitch. It’s close to her heart too with each bag named after a member of her family from Great Aunt Beryl and International Polo Player, Vivan Noverre Lockett, Caroline’s Great Grandfather.
At Caro - We’ve had Rag of Colts bags in-store at Caro since our previous residence on Quaperlake Street. We are in total admiration of Caroline’s passion, foresight and skill!
