Retail Design blog has brought my attention to the reformed Atelier Mendini gallery opening its doors under the new name, Fragileraising the dispute over whether it's a radical transformation or a hash of misjudgement. I myself am feeling positively perky about it! The geometric floors and pistachio walls in place of the over-saturated Scandi-white-walls or industrial-reclaimed-look is a refreshing change. CARO is aligned with the brands sentiment that objects should "satisfy [a customers] aesthetic and practical needs, assuring, in the meantime, the authenticity of a valuable and enduring investment”.
