Japanese tea ceremony's bring to mind occasions of ritual, presentation and serenity. Put this together with the seasonal, local philosophy behind Denmark's Noma's and you have Edition Coffee Roasters, Australia. With an experience of both cultures, brothers Daniel Jackson and Corie Sutherland have created a blend that is unique and beautiful. Although the concept is described as a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch, a menu of 8 seasonal dishes are served with a focus on 'perfection and simplicity'.

The idea that eating locally and seasonally is only possible for the advantaged has been quashed by Simple restaurant in Kiev. Designed by Brandon Agency, the fast-food restaurant encourages customers to consider when and where our food comes from with a 'be simple, eat simple' sentiment.

CM at Noma

Noma has long been top of the list when it comes to innovative and inviting food. The two Michelin-starred Rene Redzepi has invited Club Monaco to pop-up in the Copenhagen restaurant until 13 March. As the Noma team are beavering away in Tokyo with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, it seemed natural to lend the space to a spot of high-end retail. Wiith a Noma-esque colour palette the space now displays a subdued, rustic collection of wares, apparel, scents and books.
